About The Carpet Company

Frank Marotta founded The Carpet Company & Tile in 1982 at the age of twenty. Five years later he married Terri who came to work the business with him. The Carpet Company started out in the Geauga Market House, moving to the Kirby Building in Chesterland in 1988. As business flourished, so did the desire for a newer, larger showroom. As a result, in 2003 we moved to our current location at 8025 Mayfield Road in Chesterland between Avanti Salon and Oak and Embers restaurant.

We pride ourselves on our honesty and integrity and maintain a high-quality reputation, while not using high pressure sales tactics. We take the time to listen and educate the customer, utilizing services such as professional interior design consultation. We enhance the experience in the showroom by offering a wide assortment of the best quality products from the most innovative and desired brands in the industry. We use the highest quality carpet pad and flooring installers that can be offered to ensure that each floor we put in is of the best quality and service offered to the consumers of Northeast Ohio.

We have our own carpet binding machines, giving us the ability to create custom rugs, providing the customer and their space a personal and unique feel and experience.
